ethiopienne:

I’m a day late (and always a dollar short), but I just wanted to share with y’all that the ethereal Kim Katrin Crosby has been gracing this planet with her grace, compassion, kindness, vision, and healing for 30 years now—and if that’s not something to celebrate, I don’t know what is!
She has taught and continues to teach me and so many others how to envision a world in which everyone is valued for their intrinsic worth as a human being—and strive toward making that world a reality for those who are systematically devalued and dehumanized now.
If you aren’t familiar with her, take some time to look through her website or her Tumblr; you will absolutely not regret it. The world is a better place because of Kim’s transformative commitment to making it one, and I hope that she will inspire and challenge you to be a more honest and loving person.
Thank you, Kim, for all that you do and all that you are—you are the embodiment of black girl magic. <3

Don’t ever think I fell for you, or fell over you. I didn’t fall in love, I rose in it. I saw you and made up my mind.
